By enrolling students on the Summer Challenge, you will be giving students a valuable opportunity to develop their independent learning and maths skills over the long Summer break, without requiring hours of planning in advance. A single teacher licence allows an individual named teacher to use the resources with any class and student they teach. A school licence allows the resources to be used by all teachers, classes and students at a named school.
The activities will give students open-ended learning opportunities, meaning that self-differentiation and extension materials are built in to the challenge. Each activity has been carefully designed to strike a good balance between guided learning and student-led investigation. The first few activities will be available for the last few weeks of the Summer Term, meaning that they can be used as class activities or homework materials before the end of term if required.
